I dislike BK but wouldn’t get rid of him. I’m not a fan of his initial staff hires and our current OC shouldn’t have this job. He speaks to the media and fanbase as if we know nothing about football at times but that ultimately doesn’t matter. I’ve never really liked his personality so it has little to do with him being at LSU.

It’s not his fault we gave him a ridiculous contract. The next 4 games will show us where we are.

An inept offense minus 1 year. Are you that fricking blind?

Really? You think the games this year look like "the same exact football game" as when Jayden Daniels was here, we had no defense, and were winning or losing 51-45? I swear, I think that some people who post on here live in an alternate football universe.

What have you enjoyed the last 4 years on offense besides Jayden Daniels?

Be specific. Give examples.

What did you enjoy last year?

It’s almost like the Heisman trophy and NFL Star talent could succeed despite an inept coach.

Hate, no. Dislike for his personality/style and utter disappointment for how each of his team’s preparation and performance have never lived up to the expectations of a coach of his supposed caliber. Every year is multiple major flaws that are unacceptable in my view given his resources and his experience. Special team, preparation/readiness, coaching hires, defense, now offense; some program historical worst’s. I expected more; he’s massively underdelivered. The only thing he’s done is “stabilized” the program but frankly any top tier coach LSU would have hired could/would have done that.

Thank you! Couldn’t have said it better.

What do Saban, Miles and Orgeron all have in common besides a National Championship?

Those kids would have run through brick fricking walls for them and died on that field if they were asked.

BK did great and year one. Considering what he walked into I don't know if there was another coach available that could have done better. I was very optimistic after that first season. But since then he has been extremely underwhelming. Questionable coaching hires, poor play calling, lack of discipline, his little temper tantrums, etc. are really getting old. He completely wasted Jaden Daniels' generational talent in '23 by fielding the worst LSU defense I've ever seen. And now that he finally got the defense together (by hiring back to coaches that he had previously let go) he's wasting a championship caliber defense. For $10 million a year I expect better than what he's giving us right now.

I’ve said this in previous threads, I rarely hear players say they play for/chose LSU b/c of Kelly. Telling observation for me. I don’t believe he has endeared himself to the players as many of the extremely successful coaches do.

You are 100% correct.

Would want to play for a guy that shows no emotion, yet publicly places the blame on everyone but himself? He's a clown LINK

We averaged 30 ppg and 431 ypg last year. 34 and 453 in 2022.

Defense was fine in 2022, wasn’t the last 2 years. It’s good this year.

So no, each year has not been exactly the same. Quite different in terms of strengths and weaknesses actually

It’s funny how many don’t consider not-hating your own coach as an option.

and winning titles didn't stop the fanbase from hating the last 2. If your expectations are winning a national title every 3-4 years then prepare to be eternally disappointed.

BK has the most wins in CFB among active head coaches yet fans want a change.

I was good until the Florida press conference. He hasn't earned shite and doesn't deserve any grace when asked obvious questions that deserve a honest answer and responds like a spoiled kid. He has been living off a 2022 win against Alabama for 3 years. Outside of that he's coached a team and hired a staff that hasn't showed up half the time. He's one of the most disliked personality's in college football.

LOL, Orgeron didn't exactly leave LSU wired plug and play.

So, you are satisfied with the offense in Kelly’s tenure?
