They haven’t been right about shite to this point. Why start now?
Weiss Jr will likely still be in play for some other G5 jobs. Memphis probably won’t look at him, but KSU or UNLV would depending on which direction Memphis goes.

Coach at K-State retired also. Probably ATMs OC leaves to take the job or maybe Fritz goes. Penn State may also offer Fritz.

I think Sexton is steering possible candidates away from State. I mentioned Fritz because the normal group of candidates you’d have for a job like that is being altered by an agent.

Chris Klieman? Wow that’s crazy. I met him when he was at NDSU in 2015. He was extremely impressive and I figured he’d climb up the coaching ranks quickly

Yep, he’s hanging it up. Oh and I forgot, pertaining to the OP, Derrick Brooks is going to be the new GM/CEO of football at USF with Hartline.
