This is probably Germans because the video is three days old but I just watched the highlight video of Brennan for 2019. I think the thing that hit me is his mobility. I thought he was a little more of statue then that. Also his iq seems to be a little higher than I thought. I thought he would have a good year next year but watching this I think he is the best QB in the SEC west coming into next season. Replacing Burrow will be hard but I like Brennan a whole heck of a lot better than I thought.

Vs who? 120 lb kids. Show the video when he played in the all star game where he almost got his head taken off on a run vs his equal competition. You guys need to stop selling him as a runner he is not. Period. He can do enough to escape a pocket but he is not a runner whatsoever. Nobody is gonna spy him, nobody is gonna be afraid of a pull n run on RPO/RO, none of that. He can sling it tho.

Like burrow did against auburn and ucf? Just because he may have gotten murdered one time doesn’t mean he’s not mobile

I don't believe we're saying he's a punishing runner who will truck DBs.

I believe what's being said is that he has speed and agility for a QB and will be able to pick up yards when the coverage is right, even first downs.

Nobody spied Burrow either. He made them pay quite a few times. When you have the offensive weapons that LSU does, you can't afford, as an opposing defense, to put a spy on a QB who might run every so often...

The only designed play he would run on anyway is a read option.

I mean burrow never ran once on an rpo the play doesn't even have that as an option. All it is, is, a run blocked handoff where he reads a pre determined defender ,and then has the option to throw, if the defender comes up, or handoff if the defender sinks or doesn't come up.

He will do that and do the pass plays we run already. The only way he carries the ball is on a pass play where nobody's open or if they call a qb run, like a draw , sweep ,or qb power.you saw how little burrow ran on the read option.
He will set them up all game and then keep it at a critical time like burrow.

Just saying, we don't need him to run, just be illusive in the pocket. He will also run ,when the D is in man cover one or cover 0, and turns there back to him
