He needs to go to a high profile program driven by sports media where if he excels, his stock value goes up. It's as much a financial decision as a desire to play decision.
So he couldn’t play here next year?
You really think max has done enough to warrant starting role lined up for next season?

It is sad that Orgeron was allowed to drive LSU so far down that they do not fit that mold.

Anyone have a link to how each of his years of eligibility have been designated? RS, Pandemic, Injury? Thanks.

Typical rich kid doesn't want to compete maybe he can join the fishing or skiing team at his next school.

Quitter, BYE, didn’t need him anyway, he had no chest, he’s dead to me, TIGERBAIT. Hey double standard people did I do it right?

This year alone:
Chris Curry, Dare Rosenthal, Kevontre Bradford, T.J. Finley, Maurice Hampton, Ray Thornton, Arik Gilbert, Nelson Jenkins. But, keep parsing while the majority of the team quits on you.
There is a core reason this happened.
What? Did I suggest that we didn’t have a problem?

I was only agreeing with the other poster who said that, generally, starters aren’t the ones who transfer. You tried to argue that Vincent and Farrell were in the portal (and then doubled down on that argument) and you were wrong.
Out of the 11 guys you’ve listed, only Gilbert and (maybe) Hampton actually transferred out as starters. And Hampton transferred for baseball reasons - he’s not even playing football anymore AFAIK.
Am I happy about losing those guys? Of course not. The only reason I replied in the first place was your factually incorrect “they went into the portal, genius” comment.

I don't think Max will start next season.
I have no idea if Brennan would or not. Apparently he has some indication that he may not. Whether it's the QB room, coaching turnover, learning his fifth offense in five years, or an indication who the next coach might be and a system he may not fit.
None of that means he is a quitter.

Neil Farrell, Kary Vincent are two more LSU football players who have entered the portal this month.
This is an LSU team that went 15-0 last year and won a national title but will look dramatically different from the last time we saw them on the field vs. Clemson. Rivals
Go argue with Rivals.
