There were a lot of dropped passes that would have been 3rd down conversations. Marshall dropped several of them.

I don’t remember Marshall dropping “several” third down conversions. I expect he probably dropped one.

Strong arm, but I just don't see the "it" factor with him.

And there are people on the board saying he'll go early to the NFL after next season.

You make a good point; Brennan has to prove he can be poised, take command of the offense, and win competitive games. Each of our QBs have a lot to prove in order to be at championship level.

Brennan has oodles of arm talent and has shown command of the offense and advanced ability to read defenses. Can he be the poised QB who converts the third and five against Bama when their corner is hitting him 1.8 seconds after the snap, like Burrow did?

TJ and MJ both looked extremely poised to me. Both have good arm talent, but neither as good as Brennan’s. Max lacks Brennan’s arm strength, and TJ lacks Brennan’s accuracy. Can these second year guys develop their read and reaction times?

If Brennan is healthy he will almost definitely start over TJ, who gives you nothing that Brennan doesn’t, except maybe poise. The one knock against Brennan is lack of mobility, and TJ is the same. Max has that one attribute that I think gives him an outside chance of beating out a healthy Brennan. Not likely, but possible.

No he dropped at least 3 early in the year. Palmer dropped a few, Jenkins dropped a couple, emery dropped a couple, TDP dropped at least one that I remember. Gilbert dropped at least one too.

Early in the year our guys couldn’t catch a cold if they were standing naked in the rain.

This does bring up an interesting angle that no one has brought up but it’s possible that Brennan doesn’t throw the most “catchable ball”. Meaning he puts to much heat on short throws or maybe doesn’t put the ball in the best place. I’m not saying this is a definite diagnosis, I’m just saying the drops did fall off after he got hurt.
