.351 with RISP
.455 in sec tourney
.400 in BR Regional

13 is the most errors Nola had in one season (2010) and is five fewer than the next player (Hill-22, Theriot-32, Hollander-18, and LeMahieu-22)

Austin has a much better glove than Bregman ever will. Alex often times fields the ball on his left or right without getting in front of it which will cause him trouble in the future....luckily it has not to this point.

Everything I've heard indicates that Bregman is likely the hardest worker on the team. I'm confident any slight short-comings he has in his defensive game will be ironed out sooner than later.

That's 6 games after the bad 30 before that. Then Stony Brook came to town and he forgot how to bat again.

Nola was in the lineup for his glove, not his bat.

He had a couple of clutch hits 5 years ago.

seems like he had a clutch slam a few years back at arky or some place like that....then the rest of the batters failed?

You make it sound like Nola was a terrible bat. He had a lot of clutch hits throughout his career here, especially towards the end. That's something no specific stat can measure.

Bregman definitely has more potential but as of now, Nola was a better player. We haven't seen enough of Bregman in SEC play to put him on Nola's level. That's what the OP asked and it was a stupid question.

I guess I just don't get your hate. All this Bregman love through 20 games is so similar to Jones' first year.

Nola was never good enough offensively to call him a stud. He struggled defensively in 2011. He was a good player but not better than Bregman will be.

I disagree. Jones got love sure, but still nothing to the amazement from what Bregman is doing as a freshman in the 3 hole. He's remarkable. Time will tell, and I hope he is better than Nola. Just like I hope the next guy is always better. No knock.
