29 on the season. His BA is on the cusp of .300 and .OBP is on the cusp of .400. Up to 93 RBI.

Yep. This is the fourth game he has hit a HR in the last five, and the one he didn’t hit one in he hit 3 doubles. He is on some serious fire right now. And often these hits are when the game is tied or the Astros are behind.

J.D. Martinez probably has it locked up.

If he played for the Red Sox or Yankees, he’d be in serious contention. Altuve had to put up ridiculous numbers to snag it.

Bregs has more HRs than Altuve has doubles (29-25).

He has a 5 RBI night and they were ALL 2 out RBIs. He always gets hits with RISP too. He’s really phenomenal.

He needs 6 RBIs to break the Astros RBI record for a 3rd baseman. If he was still playing short he would already have the Astros homerun and RBI record for that position

Mookie Betts, his numbers are comparable to Martinez and he's a good fielder while Martinez rarely plays the field and he's a bad fielder.

I love Bregs but have to admit I didn't see this kinda of power output in his MLB career.

and to think there were people on here that thought he was drafted too high and wouldn't make it to the show

I would have said Betts but his averaged has recentley dipped and it’s now only .001 better than Martinez. Martinez has 44 more RBI’s and 6 more homers. Martinez also has 13 more hits, and his OBP still remains over .400.
