Andrew Benintendi, an outfielder from Arkansas, Alex Bregman, a shortstop from Louisiana State, Carson Fulmer, a right-handed pitcher from Vanderbilt, and Dansby Swanson, a shortstop from Vanderbilt, received the most votes and were named finalists for the award.

Really doesn't deserve to be on the list this year.

He will finish fourth out of that list.

Bregman was voted a 2015 Golden Spikes Award finalist after an impressive season at the plate and in the field. His bat led the way for LSU's offense throughout the 2015 season, posting a batting average of .323 and slugging percentage of .557. He led the Tigers in runs scored (55), and walks (36), and finished the season with a .420 on-base percentage. The junior also leads the SEC conference in stolen bases (34) and doubles (22). In the field, his solid defensive work at shortstop ranks him first in the conference with 206 assists. In his debut season with LSU, Bregman earned 2013 Freshman of the Year honors and the Brooks Wallace Shortstop of the Year award, which he is also a candidate for this year. He is a four-time USA Baseball National Team alum, as well as a First-Team All-SEC and First-Team All-American selection.

Fulmer was voted a 2015 Golden Spikes Award finalist after dominating the SEC on the mound. The junior leads the conference in many categories including ERA (1.92),

Likely Beintendi but Fulmer wouldn't surprise me.
Bregman is a very good player but his bat just didn't produce this year to be on the final four here. I will say he was MASSIVELY unlucky this season as he put the ball in play A LOT, and with good contact.

Nope, those are all overall stats. He's 3rd in ERA and 2nd in OBA too. Poor article

A third of Bregmans write up isn't even about this season.

Really? It's Bernintendi hands down.

i was laughed at and ridiculed on this board for saying benintendo would win this award

I guess I'm just looking at everything. I think Swanson is incredible at SS. Don't get me wrong, I think Benintendi is very good in the outfield. I just think overall I would take Swanson.
Now that I see Fulmer on the list, I think the vote will get split somewhat. Benintendi will probably win.
