I see another 8-5. QB play and Dline play will suffer
If by suffer, you mean "get worse," I don't see any scenario where that happens to the QB. The D line might not be quite as good, but I think they'll be used better.
The record last year was partly a fluke. I know we could have lost to Ole Miss as easily as we could have beaten Alabama or Notre Dame, but I think all three of those (not to mention Miss. St.) showed some defensive weaknesses that I believe the new coaches will shore up.
Putting aside the refs, the bowl game was partly because we had a deflated, disappointed team that wouldn't have proven anything by winning, but the other losses (apart from Auburn) were situations that could have been a lot different with a more experienced team. Also, I hope we're not as beaten up against Arkansas this year as we were last year.
10-3 last year would have been respectable, and that was so close to happening. Also, let's not forget that we went 8-4 in 2002 after three late losses. Nick Saban is still making money off of what happened the next year.

so much positivity on such a negative board. this won't end well.
I know... I was waiting for the explosion but, right now, I would vote for the original poster for president. He has me all inspired.
Wish more of us could be this positive.

What about Fournette for Heisman?
Should I throw away my Buga Nation tshirt?
Noooooo! Mr. Fournette and the running game is a given. Notice I did mention him in the passing game. The SEC knows about number 7 and LSU's running game.
BH could actually hand Buga the trophy. If he does his job, LF will have holes. If he can run up the middle without a passing game, what could happen if the box is not stacked against #7?
Come on BH! Do your thang!

That starts the most brutal stretch in the country. We better have a lot of shite figured out by the beginning of November or it could be ugly.
You know.... YOU could be ugly.

I will say this, I would hate to be a defensive coordinator trying to scheme up a defensive plan against the potential of this offense. It will start out with them stacking the box until we can prove we can pass the ball and burn them. Brandon has the entire LSU nation behind him. He is very talented with a great arm but with that type of talent there needs to be a respect for the opposition and the patience to not force the ball and check down to what the defense is giving you.
All the intangibles like knowing where the blitz is coming from, feeling the pressure, stepping up in the pocket, and finding the receiver with one on one coverage. With all the offensive weapons we have, they can't double cover all of them! These skills are part of the 'growing' process and maturation of a quality QB. Brandon has put in the time in the gym in the off season and film room. We are behind you Brandon and we need to tame down our expectations to not expect perfection but enough to get the opposition from stacking the box and opening up the running game / pass action for the offense. As the season progresses this will open up the passing offense further down the field.
I haven't been this excited about the LSU team in a long time.

"Brandon Harris is certainly the leader at this point"...CLM
Les Miles translation, "BH is the shite folks". It's happening people! We have our dynamic, game changing QB! SEC beware! Hungry Tigers on the prowl. And they have been weaponized!
