I think everyone's on board with this

frick no, because that would mean the team has no talent whatsoever, which would be a disaster.

Would you take a 5-7 season if it got O fired?
Your thinking is arse backwards.
No one wants to have to fire another coach.

It's pretty shocking how most of the people that argue in these threads daily and call each other nasty names actually agree in the end.
I think the difference is in perception...I see a coach that is willing to do whatever it takes to win while some see a coach who can’t succeed bc of his past

Holy shite we agree
Yeah, no shite. When Ricky quits playing his manipulation games he can be quite sensible.

there is no need to bring up his past anymore. he lost 4 games in 2017 with a team littered with future nfl players on offense let alone defense. he lost 3 games in 2018 which i think was a decent season.
im not judging O by his time at ole miss anymore.
im judging him by his time at lsu.
in a moment of honesty you have to admit that if miles were still the coach and had the exact same win loss numbers and same exact offense, youd be lighting him up.

I see a LSU coach who just hired a talented Saint’s assistant. I see a coach who signed one of Ohio St’s top QB’s. I see a coach signed the top kicker. I see a coach who just signed the three best freshmen in the country. I see a coach who has no ego, allows coaches to coach and has earned the respect of his assistants and players. I expected more really. LOL

says the poster that thinks lsu shouldnt challenge for titles with an offense full of future nfl players
my stance has always been that. the difference is you act like we dodnt have a enough talent in 2018 to field an offense that should be able to gain at least 400 yards in half the games we played. you refuse to admit that your talent excuse doesnt hold water when youre talking about la tech,Southeastern,or arkansas.
also,it pretty laughable that you bring up someone manipulating things when you conveniently changed my stance of,"the scheme was the biggest issue" to "scheme is the only issue".
o clearly agreed with me because he brought in joe brady to fix the offense.
like i said..... im done trying to be cordial with you.
youre a hack just like rodger.
take comfort in the fact that your biggest running mate is someone that blames S&C coaches for offensive production and thinks he could be greg maddux with practice.

Well, even if that's the case (and it's not as black and white as you say), so what? Why does that bother you so much?
With most issues in this world there's more than one valid way to look at things. It's not a reason to get so bent out of shape like some of you do.

You keep saying 3 or 4 losses is unacceptable for O...which is true....but some of your camp seemed fine with it while Miles was doing it from 12-15 when we lost a total of 14 games....and then 2-2 to start 16.

That's manipulating Ricky with his double standards.

When Les was fired, it became officially established that his level of performance was unacceptable. That's the explanation for the change in expectations.
You can't go back and say "well it was ok for the last guy." The last guy got fired.

Oh good grief this, AGAIN. Les was fired because he was ALWAYS a QB away from competing, but he couldn't land a QB because he wouldn't change his offense. Cycle repeats again and again and again and again.

Ok, when Orgeroñ has a five loss season, he will be on the hotseat. Same expectations

It's unbelievable with the RickyMinions, IF you don't take into account that LSU was in decline since 2011 and IF you don't take into account 2014, THEN, LSU is no better than they were under Miles.
