It’s gotten out of hand now. We’ve already crossed the point of no return when the SEC named a member school in a lawsuit. LSU needs to file a counter suit. Make sure all the skeletons come out of the closet during discovery.
Then go after the SEC and certain schools for punitive damages. “Drunk Pete” is dumb enough to tamper on his personal cellphone so god only knows what else they’ll find.

I dont, hence the word if. But there were rumors, and sometimes that means something took place. Sometimes it means nothing.
As stated, this suit could linger and include discovery from all involved, communication devices, etc etc.
SEC is trying to show LSU is hurting the league. So the question becomes whatever Lanes actions, legal or not, were they detrimental to the SEC...or whatever they claim
Personally, its obvious Wade drew attention to LSU with his antics, and the football situation pushed them over the edge

Its a head scratcher that LSU thought a couple of players were worth all of this. I have to believe Kiff consulted w Verge before proceeding. Nd if so, we have to start questioning the decision from higher up than Kiff

Whatever has motivated the SEC to move forward, surely isnt without stating some sort of damages over LSUs moves. And that slope can get slippery

There’s definitely a few things we don’t know. Kiffin doesn’t want to necessarily get in trouble but he’s not the backing down type. Even if the odd’s are the greatest. That’s why he’s a good fit for LSU.
He embodies the fighting spirt that LSU and Louisiana as a whole has to a lesser degree. I don’t have any sources or anything like that.
Just my opinion going off of what a logical person would do. You have to feel Kiffin and the LSU leadership were prepared to go this far and have a good leg to stand on legally.
At this point, and this is just me personally, I’d file counter suit and name every single SEC coach, AD, Sankey, and all university presidents in it. And seek punitive damages.
