I am sure no other state has used cheater as their mascot, but maybe there is not that much cheating for them to associate with the term as one of endearment. And Devonta still lost. Bring on the baby sheep.

A little history lesson may help with your lack of understanding. The mascot for LSU is named after the Fighting Tigers, which were a fierce regiment in the Civil War. Thought I would point that out in case you have reading skill problems.

Interesting. Although I would expect a Southern team to name their mascot after a Confederate unit fighting in the Civil War. But at least it isn't as provocative as Ole Miss's mascot.
