It's new to us too. But so far we like it. Went from some epically bad D the last few years to vastly improved this year.
Reckon well see how it stacks up against top flight competition soon.

Hope OU feels the ridiculous disrespect of being an 11.5 point dog when LSU only beat Texas by 7, Auburn by 3, Bama by 5 and Fla by 14 in Baton Rouge.
Here's the stats for their only common opponent, Texas:
Score LSU 45 - Texas 38; OU 34 - Texas 27.
Total yards: LSU 573, Texas 530; OU 511, Texas 310
OU never trailed Texas but LSU did at 3-7 and LSU only had a 2 point lead in the 4th quarter. After a 10-10 tie Texas trailed by 10 or more most of the rest of the game.
It's not a lot to go on, but imo LSU is gonna be severly tested by OU's offense, Jalen's running and a better defense than Texas has.

We might have lost to a Jalen led Bama team twice, but it definitely was not because of anything special he did. His stats were actually quite pedestrian in those games.
I hope you're not relying on the Texas game as a measuring stick of your defense. We just boat raced the #2 D in the country.

No worries from this OU fan. I've been a fan over 50 years and know that big talk by the fans can be great fun to indulge in, but everything is settled on the pitch, which is the way it should be.
Gotta enjoy the ride and hope the TV survives the outcome.
