I heard LSU petitioned the NCAA to move the game back a day to give LSU an opportunity to get in the practice before the game or to have an equal bomb threat at Auburn to equal out the practice time this week, not sure if it has been approved yet!
unbelievable....My post was, in no way, a complaint, flame, etc.
I just was curious to know if the hours lost that day were made up or what they had done throughout the week.
period

Am I the only one who's more aggravated about the bomb threat's effect on the practice schedule than the actual threat itself?
Probably not.
This place is filled with self centered douchebags who have no concern for others, especially when it comes to fellonies commited on the campus of a school you "love".
That point of view would fit right in to the poliboard....asshat.

I can appreciate your point. Frankly, the first part of the post was meant as more of a joke....and I shouldn't have typed it.
The second part was the real purpose of the post.

to have an equal bomb threat at Auburn
There is a huge threat Auburn will bomb on the football field Saturday. Does that count?

Miles said earlier this week in a press conference that the time would be made up. They also have the lost time from the hurricane that will be used at some point.
Holy shite, an actual answer! It only took 2 pages

I read that they would be. Don't know if they were or not.
Welcome to the rant. Develop some thicker skin if you're going to stick around, just a suggestion.

costed
It has already cost LSU two touchdowns.

To answer your question. When school is in session players are allowed to have 20 hrs a week of practice/film study with coaches. Otherwise they are allowed 40.
Schools that are on quarters, like Oregon, have a little advantage because they don't start classes till mid or late September and up to that point have 40 hrs a week interaction with coaches.
Like most big time college football programs, football players and coaches can have film study remotely with players. Players stayed in the apartments and had film study with the coaches through the link system.
If Miles felt like they needed the extra day of physical practice they would squeeze it in during the week. But the film study session day probably gave the players another day of much needed rest.

If I didn't have reasonably thick skin, then Broketec's comment may have set me off. I think I'll live.
Not sure about the "Welcome" comment though. I don't post as often as some, but I've been around a while, at least. Sooo....thanks?

It was a legitimate "welcome" but interpret it how you want.

Players said they enjoyed the day off to watch film. Fresh legs. Extra day to heal.

Bomb threats, in this day and age are, or at least should be, a bigger concern than a football team's practice schedule.
Why moreso than back in the days of Sacco and Vanzetti?

Here's what the Advocate had to say about that very subject, TODAY!
Still playing catch-up
Miles said the Tigers were still a bit off schedule after a bomb scare on campus Monday caused them to miss a day of practice. But he said the coaches are working diligently to make sure LSU is prepared.
“I don’t know that we’re caught up,” Miles said. “The good news is we over-coach it. We never get to a game where we don’t think there’s something we don’t need to coach some more. I think that’s exactly how we would always feel.”
