No, if anyone, I'd say let Jerrard Randall get a shot.

Have you guys read the previous posts about Bolden?

HE IS NOT A RUNNING QB.

Check his PSU stats: 59 carries for 28 yards over 2 seasons. 1 rushing TD.

I could also see them lining up for this and having Ware throw down field.

unless they start opening up varying options for the ware-cat, they're better off not running it against Bama at all. They need to allow for the full array a la McFadden at Arkansas. I would leave Mett off the field as well.

I agree with this. Basically Randall or Shep at QB would be the only things that we haven't shown this season.

Bolden hasn't played all year but let's give him his first game action since last year in the Bama game. The only way Bolden would play is if Mettenberger and Rivers got hurt and that would be a big if because he would probably throw Ware or Magee back there.

Randall would be after Mett and Rivers.

He hasn't even taken a snap at QB in a game yet.

This is true. In another, better world, he would have had a few snaps already, a few game-time reps before this BIG game. So that if the unthinkable happened and other QBs ahead of him were injured or ineffective, he might go in to the game as something other than pure canon fodder. But this is not how LSU currently "develops" its QBs, so... don't hold your breath waiting to see him play this week.

No, Rivers will come in and run the option.

Anyone think Miles has this game plan up his sleeve?

Might be our best shot to get in scoring range.
