Boise would have pulled within three points, yet the ref thru a flag on an event that wouldn’t have impacted the play regardless. The boise OL barely made contact to the side of the helmet with a slight finger graze. Another example of refs injecting themselves when not necessary.

This isn’t how penalties or refereeing EVER work.

Only because of the BS call.

Don't forget the Penn State's offensive pass interference call that was missed when State's WR blatantly pushed Boise's DB in the back so he wouldn't intercept the ball when the game was close and momentum was with Boise.

I think they circled the wrong lineman in the broadcast. It was a legit call LINK

And Baylor got hosed on that touchdown reversal. Obviously I don't want them to score but that was straight up a touchdown. His foot turned but it went over The out of bounds.it did not touch the out of bounds. But At least not enough Evidence to overturn it

No way they could win. It’s a money thing.

PSU did them favors all night by not running the ball more

This was a SEC crew that wanted to be relevant in the game. I believe they called 23 penalties, but they also did not call many calls that they should have on PSU. Definitely missed multiple holding calls during pass blocking and outside tackle runs and at least one PI call that would have kept a drive for Boise alive and momentum with them.

Right, that was clearly offensive interference.

Penn State has a good team and almost certainly would have won anyway, but that call and the hands to the face call on the Boise State lineman were lousy and came at points of the game where they were very costly to Boise State.
