He probably should have and will be graded on it accordingly. Why is it so important to you to point it out. There will always be missed calls in certain spots as I'm sure you know. Debating it here seems to serve no purpose.

Because this is an lsu message board and was a huge play in the game
Why does this message board even exist? Why are you here?
And

He got pushed in the back just as he was closing in on the tackle. If you don't think that is an obvious flag you are plain wrong. We could see it in real time from the South end stand and couldn't believe when no flag came out. That last minute shove changed his pace and direction causing a missed tackle. Well played Jorts!

forget about the no call...it happens. lets focus on kicking the ball so the team doesn't out run the kick. If you watch the play our entire team outran the kick...there was zero hang time. It was worse than the shanks. We need to put our freshman in the game, seriously how could it be worse than what we have now? Its just not possible that this is our best option.

Its a huge play in LSU vs UF on the biggest LSU message board that exists .
Why should we discuss anything with that reasoning ?

Calls were missed. Got it. Happens every game ever.
9 pages later....What did we resolve here? What are our next steps as tRant posters?

Where is the message board rulebook that says threads must be resolved ?
So many jimmies rustled.
Do some of you know how a message board works ?

No jimmies rustled. Message boards are for posting your points, and others challenge them.

His neck goes back when the defender hits him from behind
clearly a block in the back
How can that not be called?

What is ever resolved on here? It is a message board meant for entertainment and discussion. Nothing on the rant resolves anything

Cant use that as an excuse for the bad punt coverage.
This. One block in the back doesn't excuse the fact that no one else got close to him.
Hey genius. When the block in the back keeps him from making the stop or slowing the returner it makes a HUGE difference. That is what Jones job was and he was blocked, from behind, in full view of an official and nothing was called.

It probably was a good no call
I saw it clearly on TV and if you watch it on replay tape Dion was tracking right to tackle and was pushed straight ahead so his track to right to tackle was clearly prevented.
Hopefully Dion may be asked to talk about it and confirm his intended track was changed by pushed. I believe Dion with his momentum would have pancaked his butt big time

These two calls and about 5 different late hits on LF7. I've never thought the refs were given instructions... But it sure looks like someone said something about how to tilt the calls... So freaking obvious.
Posted on 10/19/15 at 6:57 pm to musick
Musick your post was needed and perhaps Miles will file a complaint with those officials so that they will be graded such that they will not miss said call in the future.

Not going to read all these but has anyone mentioned Jamal Adams getting interferred with? I didn't have a good look but he seemed to think he was interferred with on a possible INT.

So which would you rather, BLIND refs like yesterday or HYPERREACTIVE refs like Ritter?

So freaking obvious is an under statement.Next question is shouldf the SEC tinvestigate if officials are betting on SEC games or FINE officials for missing obvious bad calls?
Congress is looking into Fantasy betting and massive insider profits- next up NCAA investigating football officiating .

That anyone who says that is not an obvious penalty breathes strictly out of their mouth and has a double digit IQ.
