Could have been called. But if im being objective, it was probably a good no call. He barely touched him on his back. Cant use that as an excuse for the bad punt coverage.

Dafuq are you talking about? I saw it real time and was pissed. He knocked him down and it definitely made a difference.

ETA: maybe not knocked him down. I think he went down trying to change direction, but the blocker definitely pushed him past the returner

One block in the back doesn't excuse the fact that no one else got close to him.

The coverage was outkicked.

Debo get's pushed right by the returner. That has to be called.

There were several really bad no calls throughout the night against LSU. Block in the back to DJ, several holding during that punt return, PI to Dupre in the endzone, Punch in the face & Late hit & Grabing face mask to LF7, and of course, Arden Key was being held all night and there wasn't a single flag thrown on the UF O-line. It was just terrible, very inconsistent officiating all night long.

The ref was looking straight at it. I understand how he missed it.

FF to the 1:00 mark for the block in the back. He puts his hand in the middle of DJ's back and he immediately falls down because of it. It wasn't a hard block but it could have gone either way imo. Either way our punt coverage has to improve.

If he doesn't get pushed, he probably levels the UF player because he had it timed perfect.

zero reason to blame the refs in this game...we were fortunate to keep the ball on the fumble though I think they got the call right, they could have easily gotten it wrong...and the non false start on LF7 on his wildcat TD run should have been called, who knows if we score when backed up 5 right there

I don't how you look at that GIF and tell me "objectively" that wasn't a block in the back.

Nice work musick!! Any chance you can do the same thing with the PI no call in the endzone?

I don't know, I'm glad the officials let them play a little. The problem is the SEC officials or crews are all so different. Next game will be a ton of holding calls or PI calls.

You can see Deion's speed jerk faster when he first touches him. Esp on the second gif. He has a steady speed and then he jumps ahead really fast. watch it.

Does anyone else feel like we over pursue looking for the big hit on ST coverage or is that just delusional on my part. Something as simple as DJ breaking down right there may hold up just enough to let the rest of the pursuit gain ground. I do think that a block in the back could have been called but I feel like we commit to a position on the field a little to quick.

The frick? They got it right in real time and after the review.

This pretty much invalidates any opinions on you have on the game.

This is your big counter?

If you look at that gif id say it was probably a penalty. However, the return man deeks the frick out of Debo. Notice how he over pursues to right. Debo sets his course full speed at that target. Then a the last moment the return man side steps left to field the ball. Very heady play.

I think the blocker probably propelled Jones faster than he would have liked to but i also think chances are high that the move the returner made was sufficient enough to avoid him.

Hard to see, but it mostly looked like he just over ran the play.
