IMHO, Beamer did the best overall job (easily outperformed expectations) and Kiffin choked and made stupid decision after stupid decision (would be my choice for doing the worst overall job considering the expectations). Comeback coach of the year: Bargain Bin Billy.

He won't get in next year.
He's not going to win the opener at Clemson or at Bama.
Then the following year we're going to be back to hoping we land a good transfer QB.

Are we ignoring the fact that the playoff just expanded to 12 teams this year?
None of these teams would’ve made the playoffs in the past except Penn State.

Won’t be easy. With sixteen team SEC auto bid will be that much harder to achieve. To be ranked in top ten they cannot lose more than two games. I say top ten because auto bids may go to teams outside of top 12 like Ckemson this year getting in. Gotta be a top ten team.

The guy who had the most talent in the country?
He's a good coach but there's nothing that makes me think he's substantially better than BK.
He has 12 losses at the D1 level and 9 are to unranked teams.
