We will be gathering at New Orleans Food & Spirits in Vestavia on Saturday night to watch the Tigers take on Vandy. Directions are HERE

We hope to make this a weekly tradition for the many LSU fans and alumni living in the Birmingham area.

We will have a big screen set up and Jonathan (the owner and big time LSU fan) will provide happy hour drink specials and possibly some free appetizers during the game.

If we can make this a weekly ritual for Tiger fans in town, we're going to try and get his Abita vendors involved a make it a great LSU atmosphere for gameday.

Questions/comments/suggestions email lsubirmingham@gmail.com

For more updates follow us on twitter and also the restaurant

I work with Samford's football team. Our game starts at 6 this week, but I would love to join in whenever we are not out of town.

We'll do it every week during the season...

Projecter is going up right now and yes, in high def.

Happy hour drink specials all night Saturday, maybe we'll have some free shots when RS gets into the game

I had lunch as NOFS yesterday and spoke to Jonathan for a while.

The Abita vendors are on board and us in Birmingham are pushing for this to be a large venue every Saturday.

We should have most of the interior of the restaurant for Tiger fans. There will be a private party on the back deck and they will have their own tv so that they can watch Auburn.

Look forward to seeing you there....

but we'll surely be there later in the season.

According to the average person around here, your hubby should have left your arse at home tonight and went to the game or should go to the bar and watch it. Nothing, and I mean nothing by god should come in the way of LSU football.

Congrats on the special day.

I've put my foot down and told him to fire up the grill for my steak dinner at home while I watch the game and can drink all I want!!

Oh you poor lost souls. I will pray that one day you and your fellow Birmingham Tigers will be able to come home to Louisiana, and eat New Orleans food and drink New Orleans spirits in New Orleans.
