Sorry if germans but.... all this BS about miles and accountability and shite... makes me need to share something I noticed the second time I watched the sping game.

If you go back and watch the spring game, you can see accountability in coaching on the offensive side of the ball that I haven't seen in a while...

There's a play where B Gonzales rips the shite out of # 21 (C. Tolliver I think).... I'm suprised I haven't seen a thread on this yet...

I you pay attention, BG calls #21 to the side line and shows him a closed fist then if you read his lips, he says, "what the frick does this mean", gets no reply then again says, "what the frick does this mean" and he looks pissed......

You see this type of passion and accountability form Chevis but I've not noticed it recently on the offensive side of the ball....

I am excited about it and I thinnk that we will be markedly improved come fall.....

Check it out...... and you'll see what I am talking about.

Way to geaux BG....

Les was also "Miked Up" so, the cursing was off limits.

I agree with your post though. LSU Staff needs some piss and vinegar in their diet.

as opposed to what we've seen on offense the past 2 seasons, why not a little passion?

You are a giant dumbassssssss doublebird:

Kinder and gentler era......

Na... don't spank them... give them ritlin and everything will be fine....

Thats what wrong with kids these days.... Absentee of the good ol fashion arse whipping.

Don't get me started....

You probably need one of these yourself!

agreed! When you get your face mask snatched by a coach on Natl. Tv., it tends to probably make one not "have the want" for it to happen again.

Some coaches have the in your face approach and some dont, a coach isn't going to change his approach, both ways can be effective contrary to popular belief on this board.

I can promise you that when a coach cracks a clipboard across your ear hole of your helmet or grabs you by the face mask and makes you feel about 2 inches tall it gets your attention alot more than just telling you to go sit on the bench and think about what you did on that play.

As much as I hate to say it,,,,,,,,

12 and O two years in a row with a national championship speaks for itself so kiss my arse if you don't like the in your face approach.

It was after they had to call a timeout because the player was lined up wrong. BG called a timeout, and called the player to the sideline and chewed his arse. Its good to see that he is getting a handle on this because last year we had big problems getting lined up correctly

I love it to. Sitting on the purple side they called a guys number for a special teams (Punt) I think and he never came up. Fnally he got up looking confused and the coach was like "WTF GET YOUR arse OUT THERE BOY WHAT THE HELL YOU THINK IS GOING ON HERE!"

You can become immune to pretty much anything after a while. . .in my experience most of the guys that use those tactics do other things that makes players respond to their instructions. . .that stuff is just the window dressing. It does more for the fans in the stands watching the sidelines more than the game at hand. There are great coaches on both sides of the "grab the face mask" equation that players would go through a wall for.
