Biggest stat of the game

is ZERO errors....again.
Very easy to relax once you get a large lead and get complacent or one of the subs commit an error. These guys seem to be laser focus on eliminating errors this year.

Pitching has helped some but it’s been quite a pleasant surprise to see it. Lots of great plays made across the board so far this year.

I thought it was the pitching line with runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs.

I can't help but wonder if the pitch clock has helped. All CJJ's bullshite stalling last year probably put our own team to sleep

What was it then? He said repeatedly that he would break up the pace of the game intentionally. It was extremely annoying to watch. Obviously you do whatever you have to to win. But if he was someone else's coach I would've hated him

That WP in the ninth didnt count as an error? Runners advancd but no runs scored.

Mine would be the resurgence of Garrett Edwards. Rocky season last year with the injury.
So far this season his stat line is:
1-0 with 1 save, 0.71 ERA
12.2 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 11 K

You ever thought that maybe breaking up the pace of a game is a good strategy when it helps LSU?

That was the point of my post. Was it actually helping? Or did it put our own defense to sleep? I know yall hate all forms of criticism around here but it's a fair question when your defense makes this big of a turnaround to ask why.
