Just throwing this out there, but do you think this is one of the biggest most important games in his career at LSU? Pressure because of recruiting class and keeping up with bama? "the Decline" bullshite?

I have faith that we will be more than competitive and will pull it out. Interested to see what the rant thinks fellas.

Yes.

We lay down like we did 1-9-12..
People that's been on the fence with him will be off... IMO that's a lot of LSU fans.

I think 11/5/2011 was the biggest game at the time before 1/9/2012. If LSU is competitive in this game, it'll be a good sign that LSU is not "off the map" to recruits. Winning would be better, of course.

Big for perception. Particularly amongst recruits, IMO. I'm beginning to grow a little concerned over a possible " decline ". Not gonna lie. This is an important 3 month stretch for Les. How we finish this season & close out our class seems to be more magnified this yr.

Going into 1/9/12 I didn't think it was his most important game, truthful I don't think we had anything to prove in that game. Was it the most abysmal and disappointing point as tiger fans? yes. But it sees that game sits in the back of his head, cant get over the hump

I really don't think it is. We're not expected to win, already have two losses, season's already been a disappoint to most.

Now, if we were to win, I think it would make some of anti Miles crew a little less venomous.

It's on the short list. We need this one badly.

the program is beginning to become stale imo, every year 2 or 3 losses due to miles coaching blunders,

he needs this one,

At least lets try to get this recruiting class together since the season hasn't gone the way be planned.

Don't you realize every time we lose it's 100% Miles' fault and whenever we win, it's 100% due to the talent, dedication and genius of his assistants?

imo, no. at least it shouldn't be. we are not playing for the SEC or NC title so the importance of winning is diminished over some of the past bama games.

having said that, i'm sure that if we lose, the program in decline shite that we've been hearing for the last 6 years will amplify. the only worry i have is recruiting but if a recruit selects a team based on one game result then piss on 'em.

i think recruits that read this board are swayed more by the fictional decline that is posted as reality by some god awful negative people than by one game results.

to be clear, you're talking the timeout situation at the end?

the Ole Miss game is definitely on Miles. When are we going to finally get sick of our team not being prepared when we play an inferior opponent? happens every damn year. They should have beat us in TS last year, but we squeeze it out and he laughs in the postgame interview. SMH

We are still very much in the hunt for an SEC title and that depends largely on saturday.

Meh or the fact that he didn't have his team prepared to play (specially offense) vs a group of 2nd teamers and walkons.
He admitted it.
