Kucherak batting .400 and has .571 OBP

But in all seriousness, Tanks had a slow start to the season and has his BA up to .348 and OBP is .433. He’s hitting his stride.
Travinski’s OBP is .480 and he’s batting over .300.
They’re ok. It’s almost like LSU lost a lot of MLB talent to the draft from a championship team and had to replace them. Gonna take some time guys

It'll be ok. They aren't going to win it all every year.

Not so worried about the bats, pitching on the other hand

The point is not that we don't realize we lost people. The point is that nobody has taken their place.

Agreed. Especially our starters - nobody got it done vs State.

Honestly I have been pointing more to the inconsistency on defense as the reason.

But this last weekend as MS state we left so many runners on base it hurt. Would rather shi in my hand and clap than watch 22 runners get left on base.

Last year we were one of the most talented college baseball teams of all times, so I dont want to spoil the next few years comparing everything to that team like we do w 2019 football.

Lot of ball left and College Baseball is all about getting hot at the right time.

Just have to figure it out in the next 1.5 months and we are fine.

(another big concern is how good arkansas pitching lineup is)

Those are stats on lower-level opponents. LSU is 6-7 in SEC play. The link below has the same stats you posted but just for SEC play.

Thursday Baseball SEC Rant

Condon the number 1 on all of the charts isn't on the SEC play ones. That says everyone can have a bad weekend. Let's get more into SEC play and see what happens not 1 weekend

Our offense is not going to be what it was last year. Last year our offense was off the charts good.

So, we need to make up for it in pitching and defense. Pitching has been suspect as of late, but pitching tends to improve as a season goes on.

Fielding is what worries me, if anything.
