He's got about 3-4 inches on Welker. He's also an absolute freak athlete. I don't think it's really a valid comparison. Maybe Jarvis?

That's right, he's bigger and stronger than guys like welker or swope. Quinn is not bound to be a slot receiver. He can play outside as well. Realistically though, Quille, dupre and Noil are more college ready players.

how is speedy noil (a QB) more college ready than the #1 reciever in the history of HS football?

Exactly. Dude is what... 6'2"(?) with great speed and size and leaping ability is pretty polished from what I understand. I don't know why we have to pigeon-hole him as a slot receiver (wait, yeah I do).

Quille will be the #1. Spots will be up for competition. There are a lot of candidates to take over.
d'haquille is committed to another SEC school right now and it's pretty questionable that he'll flip in the first place

There's also the guys already on the roster... Quintavious Leslie, Kevin Spears, Travin Dural, John Diarse and Avery Petersen all have a significant shot at starting next year

1. O.Beckham (if he stays)
2. J.Landry (if he stays)
3. D'Quille Williams (if he comes)
4. T.Dural
5. Q.Leslie
6. A.Peterson
7. K.Spears
8. J.Diarse
9. J.Fobbs
10.A.Williams
11.T.Quinn
12.M.Dupree (if he comes)
13.S.Noil (if he comes)

It should be noted that some of the bottom ones listed may be able to prove themselves and play a lot next year, esp. if OBJ and JL leave.....

I think he's closer to 6'.

Also, if we land Quille, I would expect he and Dural to be the outside WRs next year. Plus you have spears (6'4) and avery (6'2) with a year in the system.

Playing in the slot is likely going to be where any of these freshman line up next season unless we have injuries.

Its JMO, but I believe Noil has a better chance to contribute as a freshman than Quinn. That's all.

The offense Quinn plays in at Barbe could very well have him far ahead of the learning curve when it comes to route running, recognizing defenses, finding holes in the zones, and creating space than WRs that play QB or play in run first offense in HS.

Seriously. If I were TQ I'd have a perpetual chip on my shoulder about the thinly veiled racism that goes on with regards to white receivers.

The kid is a freak. He hands like Jarvis, moves like Odell and a physical blocking mentality that we don't have this year.

if that's the case, he'll be our #1 option next year.

Dural, Leslie, Peterson, Diarse, Spears...Quinn, Noil, Dupre.

Not much experience but the talent is off the charts with that group.

Quinn and Dupree are both better than Peterson. One of them will be the #3 WR by midseason
