I think it will come to a point where we need the arm of Mett to beat a strong defensive team, ie Bama, Arkansas, maybe West Virginia. I'm very curious to see if our offense line can continue to keep our running game strong...and keep Lee from having to win with his arm. I know Lee has won big games for us in the past, ie Bama, Florida. But Mett's throws are more accurate and stronger, keeping our players from getting killed or defenses from tipped and intercepted balls. I can see Mett coming in during Bama game 3rd Quarter, after Lee has a ankle strain.

Lee is 19-32 for about 230 yds. 2 tds, no ints. Not bad .
A time will come when he will stumble a bit and the boo birds will be all over his arse. It's nice to have a capable backup. when that time comes. I hope like hell Mett doesn't throw a couple of INT's though.

Having a big arm doesn't mean that you will just come in and demolish a good defense. JaMarcus and Ryan Mallet lost at least 2 games each season they played because they made bad decisions by trying to force throws. Mallet combined for 2 Td's and 4 picks against Saban, both loses. JaMarcus had 7 picks in 3 years against Florida, defense saved him in 2 of those games, and Chavis' D got 4 picks from JR while at TN. Mett has big arm, doesn't mean he can manage the game, especially against a good opponent. He had a good game against Northwestern frickin state, doesn't mean much at all.
