I searched and didn't see anything. It looks like LSU's own Better Than Ezra is putting out an album with some covers of some LSU songs and a few of their own songs.

Tigers, we all know Better Than Ezra. Formed at LSU by LSU students, BTE has been making great rock music for over 20 years. The band members’ Tiger Pride burns as brightly now as it did when they were working their way toward stardom.
Better Than Ezra goes back to their roots with the upcoming release of their Death Valley EP on October 18. The record features a modern twist on traditional tailgating songs popularized by The Golden Band from Tigerland.
“LSU football has been a part of our DNA since our first practice just off campus in 1988 and we always talked about recording our favorite game day tracks BTE style” says bass player Tom Drummond. “The songs on this ep are iconic to not only LSU’s Tiger Band but were originally pop songs from the 50s, 60s, and 80s. For us to be able to come back to LSU and record the songs is a dream come true.”
Death Valley features rock renditions of classic LSU favorites such as: Hey Fighting Tigers; Double Shot of My Baby’s Love; Hey Baby; Tiger By the Tail; and Chinese Bandits. Also included on the EP are Better Than Ezra’s original songs This Time of Year and Hell No!, inspired by LSU football and their time at the University.
“This Time of Year was inspired by our drive up I-55 for the Ole Miss vs. LSU football games so we wanted to make sure that track was included on the ep as it was a perfect fit,” said lead singer Kevin Griffin.
Better Than Ezra’s Death Valley EP will be available on iTunes and Amazon.com as well as select LSU affiliated stores. For a full list of stores where the ep will be sold, please visit www.betterthanezra.com.

I know I'm old as dirt, but being at LSU and watching these guys play at Murphy's on a game day was such a quintessential LSU experience. No doubt there's plenty to love about being an LSU student now, but holy crap were those days awesome.

#1 Florida State vs. LSU 1991(?). It was also daylight savings day so they played that Saturday night at Murphy's until 3 AM.
It was one of my favorite nights at LSU (even though FSU beat us 28-16 and I fractured my arm falling down the stairs of the student section when Todd Kinchen scored on a bomb on the first play from scrimmage.) I remember it was raining like all hell, too.

Nothing screams an era at LSU than BTE & Dash Rip Rock. Good luck to them. I will buy it.
