We don’t have a Sunday guy, which is a huge problem. Little was getting the nod, and he has had problems this year.
Little “has had problems” yet his numbers are still better than all 3 of their starters.
What does that say about them?

“Don’t let me get hot”- the infamous words of Coach Kim Mulkey’s son!!!!!

Again. You’re counting guys with great ERA’s who may not pitch again this year due to injury. 3 guys with sub 2 ERA’s possibly out for the season
We don’t know if they’re out. Every indication is Ackenhousen is not out for very long. Shores/Edwards is a huge blow, but then you have guys like Guidry who haven’t pitched much and have already stepped up and that’s likely to continue. Little has been crucified on here and I’m pretty sure he’d be Florida top ERA guy out of their starters. It’s at the very worst a push.

He has a better ERA and WHIP than all 3 of them, but he’s “had problems” apparently.
People here think Floyd has an issue with walks. If that’s the case I’d suggest they go looks at their starters’ numbers.

I say, it sucks to be a Florida Gator…so there’s that. I’m biased but I think the Tigers. Our schedule has been a gauntlet and will lighten on the back end.

Little gets smacked every time he comes into the game. If he gets the Sunday nod he goes 2 innings then it’s bullpen.

I think Floyd is great. Hurd is really the one who has killed our rotation

Again, if he “gets smacked” every time he comes in what does that say about 3 pitchers with worse ERA and WHIP numbers?

If Little gets smacked then Florida’s pitchers are even more horrid than their numbers suggest.

So LSU has two starters that are significantly better than any of their 3, but you say their rotation is better?
Makes sense.

Each of their pitchers has had a terrible outing. Little has a terrible outing 80% of the time he comes into the game.
No shot you would start little over Waldrep if you were the coach, right?

You would even start Floyd over Waldrep?
No chance

So you just ignore all of their bad numbers and say they’re better, just because.
Ok man. Seems rational.

Yes, I do. I’ve watched them both pitch. Not a fricking chance you bench Waldrep or Sproat for Christian Little lmfao

Of course. Why would you even consider the guy with better numbers? It’s absurd.

Mid season numbers.
Career numbers aren’t close
Hell, Waldrep struck out 11 when we faced him and Johnson said he’s one of the best pitchers we faced

Yes in 2023, the seasons we’re discussing, their numbers aren’t very good.

He’s very talented, just not very consistent. He has major struggles with control.
Which is amusing since your entire claim is about how they’re so much more consistent than LSU’s rotation.
