FIFY..

The Gators DAY 2 & 3 starters are better. Skenes is best overall. Florida’s bullpen is sketchy. Issue is getting through their starters to it.

LSU’s offense 1-9 is better.

Vandy may be best in League.

Who gives a shite who’s better in early April. All that matter is who’s better in June.

I like Floyd. He’s top tier when he can throw strikes. But Waldrep is a better #2. Hurd has been awful, which makes me say Floridas pitching is better.

I still think Vandy is the best all-around team. Glad we don’t have to play them in the regular season.

Some of y’all haven’t obviously watched Florida much this year. Their pitching is shaky at best. Every starter they have has had a really bad outing at some point. Each ERA is over 4.

I agree, but they are also way more consistent. We have Skenes as the only consistent starter.

I’m just saying they are a top team with us

False narrative. Go take a look at their numbers, and they've arguably played a weaker schedule in-conference thus far.

Florida has the ceiling. LSU is getting too many injuries to say this is our year. Bullpen is getting thinner every week.

Going to suck seeing a 3 year generational player in Crews wasted with no championship to show for it.

You can look at their numbers all you want, but we now have our top 3 bullpen guys possibly out for the season.

Shores, Edwards, and Ackenhausen, if out, is a huge blow. Especially when our Sunday starter can’t even make it out of the first inning.

Yup. Bullpen is going to be LSU's downfall. Not due to lack of talent, due to injuries. I thought we were riding to Omaha easily but with all these injuries it's not looking good. Getting close to what we had last year and the same problems with no starters outside Shores and not enough bullpen to supplement. Not because they lacked it this year but because injuries are ravaging us.

Let’s see how the back half of the season plays out before determining our downfall. I expect guys to emerge.

A few have emerged which is awesome. And hopefully some of those injuries are minimal.

We have the players to win it all regardless. Will be easier with a stable of bullpen guys

Ok, just so we’re clear. UF’s starting rotation is better even though their ERA and WHIP numbers are worse than both Skenes and Floyd? Also, how exactly does that make them “more consistent”? The only one they’re better than is Hurd and he seems to have lost his starting job.

Just for reference:

Caglianone: 4.13/1.31
Waldrep: 4.60/1.38
Sproat: 4.93/1.21

Skenes: 1.14/0.62
Floyd: 3.67/0.97
Hurd: Gross
Little: 3.79/1.16

Oh yea, they’re a good team no doubt and will be a tough out. It’s just impossible to say they have a better pitching staff than us. Team ERA is 50th in the country. Ours is 18th.

Again. You’re counting guys with great ERA’s who may not pitch again this year due to injury. 3 guys with sub 2 ERA’s possibly out for the season

Ack has a hamstring issue. What makes you think he’s done for the year?

Skenes is greater than all of them. That’s accurate. Waldrep is a great pitcher, gave us problems last year. All 3 of their starters can go multiple innings.

We don’t have a Sunday guy, which is a huge problem. Little was getting the nod, and he has had problems this year.

You can’t just leave out Hurds numbers…

The fact that he tried to throw again and came back out.

Zion has me worried
