It feels like here we go again. I’m going to be curious to see if they bounce back. They always seem to lose focus in the middle of the conference season. There is no way LSU should have lost a series at home against a first year coaching staff and basically new nucleus of a team but here we are. “Pre conference” juggernauts every year but then the conference rotation starts.

Why do they falter? It’s the same players that play well in the preseason, it’s because they are playing equal to better teams and they don’t have quality depth. I said it months ago and I will say it again it’s the least talented roster in 13 yrs… 6 players and the rest are mid major or below. I gotta wonder who was the total moron that took the RF out and put that kid in who never plays only to look like she going on a Sunday stroll that turned a single into a dbl and cost LSU the game.. what idiot did that… who coaches the outfield on this team??

Soft as baby shiiit.. poor decisions by coaching staff, an alleged AA pitcher who chokes away games all the time when it gets tight. Let’s call it for what it is Berzon is a show pony not a number 1 in the same way Canady, Bahl and some others others are. She is a mid level pitcher until it gets hot then she crumbles like a soft arse cookie

The bad day is predictable, just wait until SEC and the bad roster shows up!! There is no hiding when you playing teams with equal talent, you gotta make plays and execute and yr after yr they do not. They fold when it gets tough, you can make errors, have base running errors, walk or hit 11 or 12 in 2 games, constantly swing at bad pitches and still get away with it against the scrubs they play in the preseason but in SEC you gonna get exposed. It’s a soft culture in the softball program so when it gets tough they choke yr after yr after yr

I held hope in the second game yesterday until that thick Gamecock girl (Maya Flinch?) rocketed a TOWERING home run out of the park in the sixth inning. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of LSU softball to get rocked in a twinbill at home.

People like you show you know nothing about sports, either that or you are so miserable that you wait for situations like this. In any team sport there will be days that dominant players won't be dominant, especially at the collegiate level.

You know who else in the league has at least 3 losses? Everyone but Texas. Every team in this league will have bad days and damn near every team in the nation has had more bad days than LSU.
Maybe wait and see how the other 15 league games go before calling the team chokers

Can you imagine Simmons as the hitting coach when he leaves, we will be horrible lol Leftwich 2.0 with all the gimmicks, horrible recruiting etc
