More parity and FLA and Bama were down, but overall, it was a great year. It may not have been the year for the east, but it was good seeing SC take that side of the cake. I'd have to say that Auburn, LSU, Arkansas, Alabama, South Carolina, Miss State, Florida, Kentucky, and Tennessee - somewhat in that order - will ensure the SEC goes 8-1 in bowl games. and geaux SEC!

Been a wild year for sure. I don't think any of the MAJOR games were blow outs.

While there has been more parity, I still think the top of the conference is severely overrated.

that's what really pisses me off about boise and tcu. neither could handle our schedule game in and game out. they say we won't schedule them but thats bull shite. they want a home and home w/o the appropriate guarantees. they need to put up or shut up. maybe schedule on a neutral field or something. oh, and more than one good team and no virginia tech. they are never ready for the first game of the season.

The SEC is down this year if you are talking about all 12 teams. This is the best year in the SEC West in some time though.

SEC Down?

Maybe by SEC standards. Do you really believe TCU BS st. or Oregon could host a Georgia, go to Fla., host USCw and play Tenn. and still be undefeated. Those schools would not see a stretch like that if they were to string their last four bowl games together.

"I agree" - Matt Mauck '02

(actually, I think they added a cupcake warmup before when our game got scheduled)

Taking out the Black bears the SECW is 34-1 against non-SECW opponents.

I'd argue that we may be the best division in the history of college football. We are at least in the discussion.
