Best time to catch Mike being active

Gonna be coming to Baton Rouge this weekend and plan to take my 5 and 3 year old sons down to see the stadium and Mike. Anybody know the best time to catch Mike being active?

early in the morning - around 8:00-8:30

Tuesdays from 3:15 to 3:50 am. Otherwise, he's sleeping.

Walked by his cage 3 times today around 10:00, 12:00, and 2:30. He was in his same spot in the corner nearest the pro shop, dead asleep all three times. I think you just have to get lucky.

He is generally a nocturnal creature so evenings should be best.

He can normally be seen running away from his mobile cage on Saturday mornings.

I have seen him active around 5-7, however I wasn't there the whole day. This was just when I had been on campus and noticed he was up, walking around and playing in the water.

Ive been thru BR several times in the morning with the kiddies and we've found him roaming around while its cooler.....so 7-9:30 am maybe. Good luck!

My GF sent me some snaps of him swimming and running around at about 9:30, this cool weather probably has him feeling frisky.

Tie large pieces of roast to you... Jump over the fence... That's always worked for everyone else... Mike gets really playful... Make sure to bring a good camera for the close ups.
