I dont know of another LSU kicker that lasted as long in the NFL as he did.

Tommy Davis lasted for 11 years, almost double what Richey lasted.

Wasn't Colt David very very close to a 63 yard field goal against Arkansas? Would have won us the game too.

I'd go with Colt David

His career long was 53. He was pretty reliable, but didn't have the range that some of other kickers have had.

As for the career points record, not that it's his fault, but he was the kicker during the most prolific offensive era in LSU history. And he kicked all 4 years.

that kick wasn't close at all. Colt was way out of range, the weather was complete shite for kicking, It was one of the dumber decisions les has ever made but he gets a pass on it from many people because that season was shot anyways.

I'm go with colby being the best when his time is done

That 63 yard attempt by David was at the end of the UK game.

Would have been moot if Les didn't hate Charles Scott that day.

Sorry for that last addition. Please carry on.

he also had a long one vs arky in 08. Instead of running a hail mary les tried something that had a smaller shot of working than a hail mary. He just doesn't get ripped to shite for it like he should. That decision almost ended up in a fight between me and a older LSU fan because I went on a 5 minute tirade of frick les miles over that decision.

it was @ arky in 08, in little rock, on a cold rainy day might have been even further than 63
