Jarell's dunk was infinitely more difficult. If people want to consider the atmosphere that's fine...

Martins dunk wins hands down. The score was TIED at 26! It wasn't a throw down dunk with LSU up 20 and 2 minutes left. It was a crucial basket and it propelled the team to kick Floridas arse. Florida was NEVER in the game after that. Plus, have you ever seen that dunk on any level, pro or college... during the game? I haven't. Show me.

Clark Kellogg thought it was pretty spectacular too. I'll go with his opinion over the redneck shitheels on this board

Horford apparently wasn't a fan... "I wish I was closer. I would have tackled him"

That Martin dunk would have scored a 9/10 in a dunk contest.

To do it in a game is absurd. Best dunk in basketball this year.

While it was a game our players at southeastern prolly 3 or 4 of them would do it in practice. It's not that hard now days with these crazy athletic people

between the legs dunks are fairly easy.
People have done 360s and off the board on breakaways. i'll never forget jamie brandon doing a double pump reverse on an breakway.

That siad:

Parker did his spontaneously. He had the wherewithall to do something that most ball magicians like rajon rondo only do. Then he slammed the hell out of it.

Tyrus's dunk was impossible and in crunch time. Garret Temple (i think threw the lob) and when he let it go, it was one of those things in real time where EVERYONE cringed because there was NO WAY that it wasn't a turn over. He just threw it way too high and it was an important possession. And then all of the sudden Tyrus just kept climbing and grabbed it from the top of the square and dunked HARD.

Also, this is one of the moments we knew that Shaq was turning into SHAQ. People don't remember that Shaquille was a complete project as a freshman. He fouled out every game. Could barely play. Just too huge and fast. Then suddenly everything clicked.
Shaquille jumps over Mcneese St.

one of the best oops i've ever seen in college and onpar with the hurley hill oop.

A) name me a Southeastern player to do it in a game
B) they do that shite in dunk contests, not games
C) people are talking about Arizona in which it was a 2 on 1 break and he faked out a 5'11 PG...and on top of that walked. Look at the video posted on the first page, Jabari caught the ball, stutter stepped, dribbled, then took 3 steps. And it was mentioned earlier he walked.

Give me the guy with a dunk that was legal and one an NBA dunk contest one year

it's in every high school dunk contest too.
in traffic dunks > breakway dunks.

that's just how it goes.

Martins dunk is on another scale of difficulty. At 6'10" it's even more impressive. I'll go ahead and take the dunk that most have never seen performed in a game in their life.

Tops Jabari's funk dunk, tops Tyrus' slam against Arkansas back in 2006. Wow!

I agree. Just because he made it look easy, doesn't take away from its awesomeness. The announcer said it was the first time he had seen that dunk in a game.

This is slightly off-topic, but since you bring up SLU...

We all know who the greatest dunker in LSU history is... the one with the statue outside the PMAC with him DUNKING.

Anyway, one of Shaq's rookie cards also has a picture of him dunking while at LSU over the top of an SLU player. Unfortunately that SLU player was a guy I graduated HS with. Well at least he can laugh about being tied to Shaq and tell good stories to his grandkids, hahaha!
