Who me??? I actually don't mind night games and I get the allure to them.....I get it. However, I have a kid and a wife and I get up every single fricking day now at the arse crack of dawn (even on weekends).

Can you see how that would make an 11:00am game more plausible? I could be in BR by 7-8AM easy....get some tailgating done, watch a game, and be home well before sundown. Plus the fact that the traffic isn't as bad at 11AM....fewer people.

UF, Auburn, Arkansas and A&M....two CBS day games at a minimum.

So you are saying that we will have 0 CBS home games this year other than Bama?

You could be right but I'll believe it when I see it.

It's really not unrealistic at all, not sure you why you feel like being such a dickface. Ole Miss could maybe be a 2:30, but that could easily be South Carolina - Auburn.

I got a 3 kids (7, 2, and 3 months). So thats not really an excuse......for me. Hey, I dont claim to know your personal situation though.

I'm not one to want to fight others because of their kickoff time preference like some idiots on here. I actually like a couple of 230 kickoffs mixed in with some 6 oclock ones

Don't even bother showing up to the game. According to the Rant, Miss State has the best team since the 1999 Florida State Seminoles. They're going to the ship and LSU is ending up in the cellar of the West for this season.

I'm hoping for 11:00AM so that I can enjoy the rest of my day with my family I hope the SECN brings back more of these 11:00AM games....2:30 sucks....night games are OK...when you hit 30 they become very meh. 11AM is the sweet spot IMO.

Well obviously you aren't bringing the 2 yr old and the 3 month old to the games anyway....but brining them to the game isn't exactly what I was getting at. My daughter is 2 as well and she would be miserable at the games at any time.....not a conducive atmosphere for 2 yr olds and under IMO.

The 11AM time gives me time to go to the game, tailgate with my buddies, and come home and spend time with my family. I guess it is all about priorities.

it is seven days a year

either stay at home with the family, which is very commendable, or go out to the game and do it right

11AM games are still miserable, no matter how you wrap it

All the insults....you can do better right?

In the last 10 years we have had 2 seasons that have had no home games start at 2:30PM or before.

But Joe Alleva put his foot down .....should have done that when aTm forced us to play on Thanksgiving day every other year

Do you work away 10 months of the year or are you so whipped that 6-7 Saturdays a year can't be spent on football?

That's not unlikely at all. In fact, it's more probable than not that LSU/Bama will be the only home CBS game.

UF/Bama will probably be chosen by CBS over MSU/LSU

LSU/UK? It's hard to find an SEC game that weekend that's not more interesteing than LSU/UK

OM/LSU is the only "maybe" for a home CBS game. However, as others have said, USC/Aub. seems much more likely in that spot.

Both LSU and State should be undefeated... CBS might have a tougher decision than we are thinking

If that happens I'd bet money that game is played at 2:30.
