Seriously. A lot of it is coaching, shite on the coaches who are making millions, not the players. If he played for Izzo or Coack K there wouldn't be these questions about him

The narrative by the fans of this program will be that he is an elite all-star level talent that was wasted by the program
For like 3 of his first NBA seasons

Exactly, Odom was a hell of player. Ben Simmmons has tools, but probably not as many tools as Lamar Odom.

I talked to a current scout and he said he is still raw in some areas, but has the chance to be a 20/10/10 guy as a PF...unheard of.

Uh, Ben's dad played pro ball overseas for many years. I'd argue he's had better instruction than most kids......and still can't shoot or make a left-handed layup.
