What looked bad to me was when Les put JJ in for that series so soon after a practice was like telling JL in no uncertain terms..."hey, thanks for everything Lee, but Jefferson is back, and we're not immediately going to take the job from under you, but we will as soon as we get a good excuse to."

I can't say for sure the passes were intentionally dropped. I DO remember though in the late 90's with Booty that there were strong "RUMORS" of this happening so that he would be benched in favor of Davey. Was that the case? I don't know but that was the talk. I just hope we don't get back to that.

That's kinda how I interpreted the move as well. That was a bad move by Miles imo.

Exactly. For the record, I LOVED Davey and couldn't stand Booty, but people try and act like this stuff has never happened before when it HAS.

No, i'm thrilled he's back and hope he starts against us. If you will remember, JL beat us last year not Jefferson.

What kind of message did Mett get after actually contributing to the team the last 5 weeks?

Judging by some players comments, how can it not be?

Unlike our moonic fans. The players support all their teammates.

Just because they ask to stop booing one of them bears no reflection on the other players or their feelings for them.

That he doesn't have to worry about JJ redshirting this year?

Are you in the locker room? We have the most clueless and ridiculous fan base in the country. I really hate our fans.

Probably that he is playing his first year with 2 more years, where he is likely to start, behind 2 experienced senior QBs.

I seem to remember both playing and doing well.

JJ completed 10/13 passes for 141 yards and a TD before he came out.

Probably something on the order of "Get ready for the fire next year because your reps are going to be hard to come by this one number 2..err make that #3."

STFU MAN! You don't know what the frick goes on in that locker room

I know a trainer and the divides been there for 3 frick'in years dumbass.

If any players are pissed at Lee keeping his starting job they should check to see if McNeese has spots on the team open.

Along with a big FU, "you're now #3 despite playing well and helping us the last 5 weeks."

I know the team loves JJ, but in no way, shape, or form is this team against JL after what he's done so far.

It looked like the team was getting along fine on the sidelines. I haven't heard postgame.
