agreed. The question is --How many balls have come his way in the last 5 games. Not many.

If you've watched every game, it's no secret JL learned to lean on OBJ early on, in particular if RR drew double coverage or he encounterd a blitz that wasn't picked up. JJ is more apt to scramble in blitz situations and has also missed OBJ being wide open several times in recent games.

just about all the wr's production has stepped off ever since jj has taken the majority, if not all of the snaps this season. but thats not hard to figure out.

And we are still scoring over 40 points a game since JJ has started. Who cares about individual receiving stats?

I haven't seen Randle drop any EASY ones and I've watched every game atleast 3 times. The old saying "if it hits your hands , you should catch it" is total bullshite. The pass RR didn't haul in in the Bama game barely touched his fingers.
Randle has, including a TD against WVU. In fact, RR2, as much as i love him, is not an extremely polished wr, which is another reason why i think Billy G should be fired, but that''s another argument for another time, but Randle has great hands, that he refuses to use unless he has to. What i mean is, if the ball is in the 2nd sector(think torso), he's gonna catch it with his body instead of his hands, which gives the defendor an extra split second to knock it away. Throwing the ball up and away from his body is the best way to ensure RR will catch it.

. I hope JJ can pull it together like the peach and cotton bowls in years past.

I think that leaning on JJ's past bowl success is wishful thinking. JJ performed fairly well in those games because we completely dominated the los. That's not going to happen against Bama. JJ will probably have his usual abysmal passing game on 1/9. LSU will likely win, though, because JJ makes our running attack almost impossible to stop. Plus, he's tougher then a two dollar steak.

Did anyone hear Ott's discussion this morning concerning RG3? He mentioned that RG3 finished high school early, finished college early & was in law school w/ a 3.7 gpa.

Laughing he stated that it was odd that one of our local QB's said "It's hard to be a starting QB and do well in school".

I had never heard that quote. Was he refering to JL? JJ?

It is. Just shows you how exceptional RGIII and Luck are.

This post is about why a particular wide receivers numbers dropped. Not who the starting QB should be. Telling facts is not bashing. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I did not demean any player in what I said. We are all Tiger fans and want our team to win. Everyone likes all of our running backs but think that one is better than the other. They all bring something different to the table. No different with the QB's. JL better passer. JJ better runner. That is the point and why the stats change per player. How is that bashing?

There are certain posters that turn every criticism of JJ into an arguement about why JJ should be the starter. The ONLY posters who have brought up the "starter" issue are the JJ-knights. No where in this post has anyone stated that JLee should be starting, but there are several insecure posters who insist on bringing the same old arguement to the forefront.

I was listening too RP11 and Jamarcus immediatly came to mind. Besides Lees rumored struggles this past semester I dont think weve had qb's in classroom trouble at least enough to be made public.

Always the JJ bandwagon defending what is painfully obvious to the unbiased fans. The passing game has gone in the tank just like the other 2 years with JJ at QB. Facts.

There may be other reasons contributing to Beckham's lack of production lately, but the fact we have no passing game with JJ is the primary one.

Unfortunately he is being underutilized because of Russel Shepard who is a non-entity at wide receiver and a favorite of da coach

He is catching maybe 1 less ball a game. We are also throwing the ball 5 fewer times a game with JJ starting.

When Lee was the starter In the early part of the season, he threw to a spot and when Beckham made the turn the ball was there. Not so with Jefferson, he holds the ball too long and if the first receiver isn't open, he takes off running.
