So when the poster rickyh or whatever continuously talks shite about LSU's starting qb( a team he supposedly pulls for) what is he insinuating. Come on. I'm not stupid and can read between the lines. Even when Lee was playing we weren't throwing for a lot of yards and Lee did play like shite in some games. I guess he didn't see it that way. When Lee was playing it was all about drops. When JJ is playing its bad throws where the wr had to adjust to the throw. Can't y'all pull for the TEAM and not one player.

Stop acting like Lee was lighting teams up. He threw for 170 yards only twice. And was abysmal against Kentucky. Neither qb is above avg. neither. So why not enjoy the team instead of thinking you, a fan, has all the answers

Heaven forbid people have an opinion

Op turned this into jj v jl thread from beginning. Obj is a frosh and still has a lot to work on. In all seriousness our wr dont have the best hands. I watch receivers making some crazy catches, but never ours. Even randle drops easy ones.

Not the thread title, it isn't about LSU's production. It is about one player, one that is directly affected by one other player (well one position).

Again I'm kind of playing devil's advocate here because I think that JJ gives us the best chance to beat Bama. I don't think Lee should start/play in this game unless Jefferson gets injured.

I haven't seen Randle drop any EASY ones and I've watched every game atleast 3 times. The old saying "if it hits your hands , you should catch it" is total bullshite. The pass RR didn't haul in in the Bama game barely touched his fingers.

Listen...JJ is a bad QB who brings a great running dimension to our offense that opens holes for our backs. He threw for 30 yeards in the SEC Championship. Show me one game that we played this season where our defense gave up less than 30 yards passing...you will not find it and we have the best defense in the country.

Lee is a mediocre QB at best but he obviuosly brings more to the passing game than JJ and that is not debatable. Minus Bama, JL had a good not great season throwing the ball.

JL is a better QB than JJ, but we cannot beat BAMA with JL...JJ's speed to the edge in the option gam gives BAMA fits and thats why we need him

Their career stats prove otherwise but keep regurgitating that bullshite. In 09 JJ had a better qb rating than Flynn in 07

2 serious questions:

Has JJ's numbers iimproved since his first year?

Has JL's numbers improved since his first year?

In other words, it looks as if JL has progressed as a QB and JJ has not. Do you really see it any other way????

You can't honestly be objective here and say that Jordan Jefferson is a better passer than Jarret Lee right now and if you do, then you just don't really have any clue of what you're talking about.

I see that both qb's are avg. for JLee when the pressure comes he goes into a shell. For JJ when the pressure comes he takes his eyes off of downfield. Both have some plus things going for them and both have their negatives. Neither is better than the other. Lee wasn't throwing the ball all over the field. JJ shite the bed against Uga. And lee shite the bed against Bama and Kentucky. While I think Lee brings more to the table in a two minute drill it isn't much more. JJ can have 300 lb lineman hanging all over him and still get a pass off. Neither is better. Period. And the coaching staff( a damn good one) agrees with me.

Agree to disagree on who is the better passer.

seems like we have a few of us arguing with each other when we agree with each other. I was just looking back over the comments. See what this JJ/JL thing does to the fans!!!!

Well if it's 3rd and long with not much time. I'm going with Lee. If it 3rd and long in the first second or third quarter, I'm going with JJ only because of his ability to pick it up with his legs

Not reading the whole thread. Did anyone mention that OBJr essentially got benched when RS returned?
