Leaving it out so as not to clue in the idiots so easily since we have 0 NCAA title vs 1 for the other program.

That doesn’t make any sense. Why should you leave out the only thing that makes the question interesting? Without the title it is clearly us. I’d probably rather be Baylor if you include the title. Going on a title run would absolutely beat going to two extra final fours and the others.

The Baylor women's basketball program. The numbers aren't wholly accurate either.

Baylor has 19 NCAAT appearances, not 13. They have 10 elite eight appearances, not 6. They have 15 sweet 16 appearances, not 5. They have 4 final four appearances, not 3. And to leave out 3 national titles is just hilarious.

ETA: The OP used the men's Baylor team numbers for this post. Pretty big fail

Nice catch....

The point is, when you finally include the 1 NC title, the two programs are not Baylor >>> LSU as was mentioned in the other thread saying Mulkey was downgrading.

LSU is solidly a LATERAL move for Mulkey - especially when you consider all of Baylor success is solely under Mulkey.

Almost all of LSU’s success in women’s basketball was in a 10-15 year block of time. We never invested in the program to the level of Baylor. It’s not a lateral move either because the jobs, in their current states, are miles apart.

I see so many posts like yours in an attempt to discredit Woodward getting her to LSU like it wasn’t that good a job. Y’all really need to stop trying.

I think Because women’s basketball is so new relatively speaking it’s still very much the cult of personality that win.

I recall those “Twice as Nice” signs when Leon Barmore won it 2 years in a row.
LSU went to the elite 8 with Sue in ‘86. I’m sure new is a relative term for younger folks.
When Mulkey played at Tech, they were a “big” deal.
