How often do failed NFL coaches have success in college and go back to the NFL?

Never said anything about being a good or bad person, just simply stating what I feel is likely to happen based on past history. Is what it is, everyone likes to get butthurt

If he does come to LSU and "pulls" this type thing, it means LSU will have had huge success.

Really? Lsu isn't the only team to win titles with 3 different coaches. I dont get the obsession as to why everyone thinks its a "top job" when they consistently lose 3 or 4 games a year and have been to the playoffs ONE time. Even BK took ND to the playoffs a few times. Kiffin will bolt for another job in 3 years, and leave LSU in the same situation. You hire a program builder, not a quick fix.

Kiffin has been at OM for 6 years which is longer than our past 2 coaches. If he is still here after 6 years, I feel confident we have 3 plus playoff births with a championship mixed in.
There’s no guarantees in coaching searches but he feels like as sure a thing there is.
Count me in the club of if things are going well, the NFL and maybe the bama job are the only ones I’d worry about with him.
