is not ok to make a habit of losing to ole miss and Arkansas

You mean 9 win ole miss and 10 win ole miss?

But let me guess its ok to lose to mid major. Its ok to lose to 4 loss miss state that was .500 in sec play?

Again, youre touting things that got miles Fired. Thats not and upgrade. Only one of the coaches we are discussing has proven they can win even 10 games. Only one of the coaches we are discussing have proven they can go to a bad situation and make them respectable. Only one of the coaches we are discussing has proven they can sit on the throne of cfb. And its not the coach youre calling an upgrade.

You're talking to a guy that didn't think Les Miles deserved to be fired

Miles took over a Ferrari from saban.

Miles took over a program with 1 top 5 finish in 2 decades and proceeded to have more top 5 finishes than saban, mac, and dietzel combined.

Miles had more top 10 finsihes than the previous 40 seasons of lsu football combined.

O took over a sinking ship from Les

Look at you shitting on the program to prop up an unqualified HC.

Real fan bruh.

And please explain how having 10 wins in 2010,2011,2012,2013, and 2015, is a sinking ship.
You dont know what youre talking about.
Miles was fired for losing 3 games a year and youre touting a coach thats losing 4 and 3 games a year.

Its laughable.

O EVEN HAS WORSE OFFENSE THAN MILES and you're still sitting here touting him.

Because youre a lsu fan. He is no worse than some superbowl winning nfl coaches.
Since its so well known, pleaee list the games that we lost because of clock management.

Miles left O no QB worth anything for this year. O had to go get a transfer who had never started and was named the starter what 2 weeks before the season started. Not a whole lot of time for the qb to build rapport with his wideouts was there. Nope. Miles also didn’t leave o much of nothing on the offensive line. the offense will be good next year. You give me where you think they will end up and how much are you willing to put up. I am about that action.

I hope everything you say is true. I would like to see a thriving O at LSU sometime before I can’t handle the stadium steps any longer.

The thing I see is not only is our passing game uninspired, but our run game we have normally been able to count on become mediocre. And that is a significant warning flag for me, but there’s always the hope things will be better next season.

You were touting Brennan and Narcisse.
MILES HAS BEEN GONE SINCE SEPT. 2016.
My God.

O couldve done that in 2017 when he was the recruiting coordinator.

Holy shite.

When he was fired we had 3 all sec oline one was a rimington award finalist. Do you follow lsu football?

Youre blaming Miles because oline transferred away from a dline coach.

And again, im arguing against O being an upgrade. Not that miles should still be here. Its seems you love to give passes to this regime that you blame on the last one. Miles left O a top 5 class, an oline with 3 all sec players, 3 nfl rbs and nfl wrs. Yeah lets knock miles for leaving that. Good god.

Do you think Clemson fans could have foreseen Dabo leading Clemson to the playoffs or elite national status after he had a losing season and "Clemsoned" the first few years when he decent teams?

We really don't know about Orgeron but I would say "no" unless he raises his ovrerall game; improves the coaching staff and recruits at an Ohio State, Clemson level.

O gets two seasons after taking over. Year three he has his recruits. No excuses. He already outperforming miles while still trying to clean up the mess miles left. If O loses four next year he needs to be shown the door. He will easily surpass that. Miles would have us at 4 losses I’m afraid.

And you won’t find me touting neither of those QBs.

Yes, if Saban retires. I also can't see any other coach we hire making the playoffs as long as Saban is in the league. I believe the only coaching hire that has a much better chance of making the playoffs than Coach O is if we hire Dabo from Clemson. If LSU were to hire him they would have to make him the highest paid coach out there.

YEP...
Tough schedule
Bad loss at UF & A&M (because of refs)
1st yr OC
1st yr QB (only a few months with the program)
Young WR's with very little work with starting QB
No stud RB
Oline that didn't play well

and we still were in the discussion for playoffs this year...so why do you think he can't make the playoffs?

don't try to spew that nonsense that O had a full year of recruiting in 2016. He has only had 1 full yr of recruiting coming on his 2nd full year.

Outperforming??

Orgeron has already lost more games in his first 2 seasons as head coach than Miles lost in his first 3 seasons at LSU as head coach. O is on the verge of possibly losing 4 games in his first 2 seasons as head coach at LSU.

You believe Miles would have LSU at 4 losses easily even though he lost 4 games in a season only 3 times during his 12 year tenure.

The undue credit that some here give Orgeron while ignoring the actual results that Miles achieved is astounding.

Miles lost 10 conf games his last three seasons. For O he would have to lose 5 next year to match miles futility over 3 seasons.

Remember we aren’t comparing Ed to miles at miles best. If miles was at his best he would still be here. We are comparing O To the last three years of miles. The miles who got run outta town. 10. Yes 10 sec losses. o will never get close to 10 in 3 seasons.

You gave him credit for the 2017 class but dont want it to count when talking about O improving the roster.
