Let them downplay the ability of LSU. It is to our motivational advantage.
Saban must hate this. He would have much rathered that LSU win 50-0 and Bama struggle a little so that he could keep his foot on the throats of his players.
He and his teams have usually done a better job when they were underdogs or had something to prove (see 1/9/12). Media hype and possible big-headedness by Bama players is not what he wants this early in the season.

Heard on CFD that Alabamas only speed bump may be a physical LSU team. They were reall slobbering over Bama and USC today.
