This team is definitely be sweet 16/elite 8 caliber with better coaching and it's incredibly disappointing, but with that being said they can still make the dance.

Sorry, Nancy. LSU plays for championships in baseball. Basketball is groveling, begging to get into the top 68. No one around the country cares who the last one in is. Sorta sad.
People sell out the Box. Not happening at the PMac. You may be a basketball junkie, but others won't follow. Basketball at LSU is third...maybe fourth behind gymnastics. It's not going to change.

I don't think having top 5 talent in the nation, but playing like the 75th best team is the definition of being in good shape.

Yeah we have no where near elite talent. Yes we have the #1 overall pick but his best attribute is facilitating. Teams know they can play off of him and he won't hurt them with his jumper. Cbb is mostly about guard play and none of our guards are special.

This is not a very good team. What does it matter if they do somehow manage to make the tourney? We will very quickly lose to a better coached team in probably the first round. Therefore the team is not really ok.

That's all fine, but you really think we'll win all the games we should and not slip up?

The problem is we don't have any room for losses to Auburn or MSU like we did last year
Or you mean like similar losses that we already have this year?

A team that was ranked in the top 20 in preseason is now less than a 50/50 shot even to get into the NCAA tournament. This team and Rosie O'Donnell are both in great shape, I guess.

Yep. CJJ will pull it together and have this team ready to go by tourny time.

If we lose at Bama we can close this chapter...

I have no idea how you can conclude this team is in great shape. At least as I understand the meaning of the words great shape.
