Been to the last four and had a good time at all of them but this year. Waited 25 after 5pm for Les to come out and finally gave up on him. The Chief came out and did an interview with Gordy around 3pm and got some minimal applause. The only ex LSU player or current player that I saw was T-Bob Hebert. The silent auction was weak with most of the items being signed pictures by pro players. You could take a picture with Billy Cannon for a certain price but only saw one or two people do that. It was a very laid back crowd, even when the band came out there were not that many people standing up and cheering. Strange Bash for me. Anyone else feel the same?

I think the new-ness of it is wearing off. It's Wednesday. People work. The class was firm without many question marks.

The bash has seen its better days....

I think they need to either seriously change it up or just get rid of it totally.

People will stop taking days off of work if it continues to be a bore fest every year.

I have never been a BASH fan. I just don't see taking a days vacation to see if an 18 year-old kid will come to LSU. And I CAN'T STAND when a GROWN man gets pissed when a 18 year-old chooses to go somewhere else.

I skipped class to go to the Bash every year in undergrad and grad school. Had a blast getting hammered and doing the whole thing but now that I'm working I don't think I can envision a scenario in which I would use a vacation or sick day to go.

They probably would not understand how someone can spend most of their time on a message board.

Also doesnt help that pretty much everyone sent in their loi before the thing even started. Used to be they didn't send them in till later in the day and everyone was hearing it for the first time, together. I actually like it better that everyone sends their loi in early in the morning so there is no disappointment.

This. It's needs to be more of like the NFL Fan Experience, Maybe with an mini-LSU football HOF set-up. EA Games needs to be more involved too, some sort of NCAA tourney for the under 30 crowd. I wouldn't mind a band or two.
