It's National Recruiting Day! Come out to the RobinsonBrothers.com Bayou Bash at its new venue! Open free to the public or contact the Tiger Gridiron Club to reserve your VIP Table! L'Auberge Casino - Wednesday, February 5th - Doors open at 10:30am

My email from TAF says BB is open to the public. That contradicts what I've read on here. Anyone know for sure?

Sorry ab the formatting. I'm posting from mobile on the way to my camp.

Basically to get in the main room you need to pay to have a table. The rest of the casino is free with the media at the sports bar and other things going on throughout.

$1500 for 10 people ($150 each). My tailgate club got a table not terrible for all day eating and drinking... I run up a higher tab at the bar for less hours.

It's pretty terrible eating and drinking all day and talking LSU sports.

Seems to me that the BRPD pretty much ended the practice of holding the Bash at the Centro...um, River Center. 44 DWIs in one afternoon at a checkpoint that specifically targeted the Bash made sure of that.

Now it is going to be an event for the well-heeled and well-connected. I don't expect it to last more than another 3-5 years.

On another promotional note this could end up being the most intriguing and gratifying Tiger Bash yet. With the coaching changes in college football there seems to be a lot of top-tier players "undecided" that will make their decision on NSD. I know LSU is hustling to get the best kids available. I remember Sam Montgomery as a surprise commit years back and that turned out to be a great addition to the team even though he was hurt his 1st year. Geaux Tigers!
