Yes I too heard this - Arnspargers teams got whipped in all 3 bowl games where he was a coach - that was not his forte.
Broadhead thought they were men and should be treated as such and of course any of us who were that age know what it was like to be unsupervised...not a very good decision by Ole Uncle Bill.

Only upside to missing the playoffs is the bowl game losses don’t really matter anymore. It’s just a post-season scrimmage going into Spring ball.

Agree. 9-4 sure sounds better than 7-5. I’d have to think the coaches and players will feel motivated to finish this season with a win. Especially Coach Kelly because so many of our fans are not happy with him right now. LSU needs to win, don’t care if the bulk of the offensive line is out, the guys that have been waiting their turn need to put some good effort on film. Personally I think LSU shows up for this game.

yeah, it's easy to say for some this win doesn't mean anything and in on sense it does not......but environment within a program matters and as meaningless as some might think it to be.....it will be much better going into the offseason on a winning note and not so much a losing one.

Winning or losing this game means nothing except to the emotional dips**ts. It is basically a pre spring scrimmage. Yes they will play to win but more importantly want to see what the young guys can do. That is more important than winning. 8-5 or 9-4 ain’t gonna have anything to do with next year.

You’re correct. But yet, when I said it’s the “who gives a frick bowl,” the tRant rioted. You’ll notice, whatever’s popular in here, they flock to. Early on, the Texas Bowl was legit and a great game, but now, the tune has changed to, “it’s an exhibition,” and “it doesn’t matter.” Reverse it 2 weeks ago….you’d be tar and feathered. Receipts I tell you! BK sucks

BK is completely off the hook this time. Everybody knows if LSU loses this game it's because the team's wearing a non-traditional uniform. I think Vegas may have baked that into the current spread.

I am about as excited for this bowl game as get for the spring game. I will watch because it is the Tigers. I will pull for them and cheer loudly for the good and moan for the bad. But I really could care less. Just hope no one get hurt.

Just once, I'd like to see our nine-figure coaching staff outcoach somebody. Is the LSU staff anything more than NIL bagmen? Every LSU player who will play in the bowl game has been developed by this coaching staff for at least one entire season, including bowl practices.
You can pretend that bowl games meaning nothing. But losing five games absolutely sucks, and it's beneath a program with the tradition, fan support, and resources of LSU.
