LSU's NET ranking is 15, not 16.

You'd think the guy in charge of digital marketing for LSU bball would want to promote the fact that LSU is top 15 now.

10-5 rest of the year would be nice. I think we can go 11-4 and get to 24-7 regular season. That would probably put us ranked around 12 in the AP poll.

I would love to finish at least 12-6 in conference. That should lock up a tourney berth.

IMO, five hardest games left:

2/6 @Miss State
2/9 Auburn
2/12 @Kentucky
2/23 Tennessee
3/6 @Florida

It would be huge if we get to 8-0 or 7-1 before the difficult part of our schedule hits. We should be favored in the next 5

LSU should win the next 5 games before going to Starkville for a tough game vs the Bulldogs. The next 3 will be tough with @Miss St, Auburn and @KY.

I'd say 10-5 or 11-4 is doable. Always have to factor in that one game you lose that you shouldn't. Basketball is too unpredictable.

9-9 probably gets them in. 10-8 definitely does

It's basketball, so we'll definitely drop one or two that we shouldn't but I sure as heck hope we neutralize that by winning a couple we shouldn't.

11-4 rest of the way

I don't know if I'd quite go that far. It would depend on who those 9-10 wins were against and where LSU won them. If the 9-10 wins were most against the "bottom" of the league:
A&M, UGA, Vandy, Ark. SC (bottom meaning likely non-NCAAT teams), then those wins won't be all that great. But, if the 9-10 wins include multiple victories over the likes of UK, Tenn, Auburn, MSU, Florida, then they certainly look better.

The reason is because even though LSU's OOC SOS number is very good (thus far), they don't have a significant win in OOC play like they had last year with Michigan and Houston.

For me, 11-7 is the "lock" point. LSU should be favorite in the next 5 games and all are very winnable. If they can get to 8-0, then it's hard to see this team not finishing with at least 12 SEC wins.

For now, I's say LSU finishes:

22-9 Overall (12-6 in SEC)
T-3rd in SEC
NET: 20-25
#6 seed in NCAAT

@Ole Miss was a tougher road game then @Miss St will be...I see us going 15-3 in SEC play!
