WOW!

We started off the second half really strong....but kind of let up.
If we play as hard as we did to start the half, we beat them by 20

Went to the game. Played like crap for most of it. McNeese pretty much gave LSU the game at the end. Their last possession of before OT looked confusing. Should have called a TO. I thought McNeese got robbed on quite a few calls. The Flagrant by Malcolm White was uncalled for. LSU got away with some crap tonight but they played lights out in OT (still LSU got away with a couple fouls in OT that were pure homer bullshite).

Glad we won but we're just not that good this year.

Just got back from the game.

Our offense seems to have no kind of plays or schemes. It is just pass around until someone shoots, reminds me of Brady ball.

I saw more penetration and dish than I've seen all year.

Sounds like there is no where for this team to go but up! I hope with all the young talent, things will get better & wonder when Malcolm White is going to start being a lot more like the player we thought he'd be when he transferred here?

Pretty much agree with all of this. I thought LSU gave a lot of effort but they have played three bad games in a row. I was finally impressed with Malcolm White, who had a good stretch in the 2nd half.

I will say that there were several bad calls, most benefitting LSU. One of the worst was when LSU fouled McNeese up 3 (53-50) and White clearly goal-tended the shot, which should have made it a basket and one free throw. I have no idea how that was not called goal-tending. LSU pulled it out but they have a lot of work to do. I have to think they are the underdog against Wichita St.

I watched on 37 last night and was once again not shocked with our terrible defense and poor fundamentals.

We did good in the paint during the second half, but moved away from it late and let MSU come back. They need to just get it low and let White an them just get some dunk faces like last night.

The outside would open up if they just maintain inner dominance.

I thought our perimeter defense esp. stopping the dribble drive was horrible but that is where most of our offense came from as well when Turner wasn't running the baseline getting open for 3's. Driving to the basket set up at least 6 dunks tonight, with White getting 3 in a row. If our big men could catch a cold they would have had more than that. But a win is still a win right now and I'll definately take it, I thought McNeese out hustled us after we got up in the 2nd half, but we found a way to win. I didn't mind the hard foul by White at least it created some hesitation for McNeese when driving to the basket. The offense did lack movement but our guards missed our bigs a few times tonight when they were open down on the block...this team should keep getting better

I stand by all of my comments on CTJ made this week on the board. He needs to go. He is not the coach that LSU thought he was when we hired him. This is embarrassing.

Agree with you. There was nothing last night that made me think he should be here next year. Yeah they looked decent at times, but their fundamentals were terrible all around.

Most highschool coaches can teach better fundamentals then what he have. An the offense...wow there are no words to describe the lack of any brain cells being used. Throw the ball in a circle until someone decides to shoot a prayer or once in a blue moon take it to the hole.
