Nope leads off every inning

We need a clutch bat behind Bregman. That way he won't chase 1-0 curveballs out of the zone with runners on base.
I think Ibarra has to be that guy.

Wait, there's 9 innings in a baseball game? I thought there was only 5 1/2.

ULL fans aren't going to know who to cheer for this weekend.

I concur that Ibarra needs to regain his 2013 stroke. He needs to be behind Bregs.

You're probably right

Can we move past this?

LSU doesnt run so the speed is not relevant to the conversation
I stand by my earlier assessment of him as an inadequate leadoff hitter.

He gets on base. Do I care if it's a walk or hit?!
I do not
I do not

I'm pretty sure he has. It was a joke to the comment I made about the batting order in the 9th

@Braves_Paul: Warren Spahn had 363 wins and 363 hits in his career - 356 with #Braves, 4 with #Mets, 3 with #Giants for BOTH stats. @jaysonst
Greatest stat ever?

Is getting on base an important requirement for a leadoff hitter?
I think so too. Laird to leadoff.

Wow, I didn't see that Vandy lost to Evansville.

And last night to Western Kentucky

Sorry. I missed that.

He's also struck out more than any of our hitters.

Why not just move Bregman to leadoff? Last year Dex was our leadoff and he was easily the best hitter on the team

McMullen is fine there, these guys are just a bunch of silly geese
